We are excited to share an update on our new Shared Life Communities (small groups), which are designed to help us build relational depth and outward-facing community as we live life together and share Jesus with our neighbors. This is a key part of our vision to embody our core values of having a redemptive perspective, being kingdom disciples, and living as those who are Adopted into God’s Covenant Family.

After prayer and deliberation, we've decided to form these communities based on your geographical location to make it easier to gather, grow, and serve in our neighborhoods. We envision these communities as places where we meet to eat, play, pray, and plan together as a family.

Our Shared Life Communities will officially launch on Saturday, October 4th. The groups will meet once a month on the first Saturday of each month.

We are praying for these new communities and look forward to seeing how God uses them to build us up in Christ and reflect His light in our city and neighborhoods. More details on how to get connected to a group will be shared soon, as well as teaching about these in Discipleship Hour in September.

We are seeking volunteers to help prepare and deliver meals to families currently being supported through the Family Promise program. This ministry is a tangible way to show Christ’s love and hospitality to those going through a challenging season, and it's especially meaningful during the summer months when many regular volunteers are away.

CPC's next meal is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6.

If you're able to contribute a dish, assist with delivery, and/or help serve on August 6 or a future date, please reach out to Meghan.

During the summer, when many of us are traveling or on different schedules, it can be hard to stay connected week to week. But connection with the Lord and with one another is vital to our life as a church, especially in seasons of rest and change.

That’s why we’re starting a simple rhythm of Prayer and Praise, beginning next Wednesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. at the Pavlics’ home.

We’ll gather on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the summer for a relaxed, informal time of:

Fellowship

A short Scripture reading and reflection

Praying together

Singing songs of praise to our Lord

This is a wonderful way to grow in dependence on God together and to encourage one another through His Word and Spirit.
