Mission
Christ Presbyterian Church is Rooted in Christ, Reflecting His Kingdom.
By the power of the Spirit, we make disciples, see lives transformed, and reflect God’s redemptive work in the world, in the name of Christ, to the glory of the Father.
Christ Presbyterian Church is associated with the Presbytery of Northern New England, which is part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
Core Values
In seeking to be led by the Spirit, we desire to function as a unified body, sharing life together and pursuing a common mission. Our core values were prayerfully developed to unite and guide us, are rooted in Scripture and Reformed theology, and tailored to our church’s unique calling in this place and time.
- Depending on God Alone
- Adopted into God’s Covenant Family
- Redemptive Perspective
- Trinitarian Worship
- Kingdom Discipleship
Depending on God Alone
"Grounded in God’s Word, Guided by His Spirit, Everything Through Prayer"
We stand on the authoritative and sufficient Word of God as the only infallible rule of faith and life, with the Westminster Standards serving as a faithful summary of its teachings.
We seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance and empowerment to apply and live out His Word in every area of life.
Because we depend on God alone, prayer is the breath of our lives and is constant in all we do, shaping us individually and as a body.

Adopted into God’s Covenant Family
"Welcomed as children, united in love, growing together as a family."
As God’s beloved children, we embrace our adoption in Christ. We live out our new identity in a way that extends this love to others, within and outside the body.
As God’s redeemed covenant community, we seek to embody the love, humility, and forgiveness of Christ as we live, serve, and worship together as His family.
We are a community of hospitality, mutual encouragement, shared life, and discipleship, where everyone is valued and equipped to serve and grow.

Redemptive Perspective
“Joy Restored, Redeemed by Christ, Hope Renewed”
Our deepest desires—love, purpose, belonging, wholeness, and joy—are distorted by sin, but reflect our longing for God, and are ultimately satisfied in Jesus Christ alone. Hallelujah!
The gospel proclaims that in Christ, God is making all things new, restoring what was lost and bringing healing to the broken.
Because of the life, death, resurrection, ascension, and imminent return of Jesus Christ, we live in sure hope for the future and our eternal joy.

Trinitarian Worship
"Living for the Glory of the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit"
We live to the glory of the Father in all of life.
We exalt Christ as the preeminent Savior, Redeemer, and King of our whole lives.
We live all of our lives in worship by the power of the Spirit.
We come together on the Lord’s Day to passionately proclaim our Triune God’s greatness as we receive His grace through Word and Sacrament.

Kingdom Discipleship
"Proclaiming the Good News, Making disciples, Resting in Christ’s reign"
As Christ’s visible church under His sovereign reign, we serve as ambassadors of His kingdom and as a foretaste of His eternal rule.
We are called to participate in Jesus’ Great Commission, growing as disciples who make disciples.
Our goal is to see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven while longing for the consummation of His reign when He returns in glory.
